People using handheld devices to visit the Rubb Military website is increasing, with almost 30% using a mobile or tablet in recent months.

This is a significant increase from 21% for January to December 2015. To this end we are now launching our new responsive Rubb Military website to ensure that our audience has the best experience when viewing the site on different screen sizes.

We took the Rubb Military building product information from the original static website and rebuilt a fully responsive site, which was designed and built in-house. The aim was to provide a functional, reliable and user friendly site for our stakeholders and clients in the defence and aerospace sectors. Our users can now benefit from exploring webpages tailored to their viewing platform.

This development involved the restructure of our website technology and coding techniques as well as a new contemporary visual design.

New website features include:

  • Responsive coding, optimized for all mobile devices, tablets and desktops
  • Quick and accessible links on mobile and tablet navigation bars to relevant customer information and contact forms
  • Refreshed modern design
  • Easier viewing experience
  • New and updated newsroom and events diary
  • Improved, swipe through photo galleries
  • Bigger impact images to showcase our technology and projects
  • Better access to videos
  • Links to other web pages and relevant articles
  • Continually updated content
  • New landing pages developed to support additional products and services
  • Additional downloadable content

Development, training and implementation regarding the new types of coding techniques were completed in-house.
