We are looking for a confident individual to join our new, dynamic and growing sales team. This is a great position for an enthusiastic, self-motivated salesperson, who would like to pursue a career in the fabric building and construction sector.

 

Rubb Buildings Ltd is a respected world leader in the manufacture and construction of custom designed, engineered structures. We provide portable structures, relocatable buildings, shelters, hangars and custom facilities to suit individual client requirements. Our products are semi-permanent and permanent building solutions for a wide range of sectors including military, aviation, sport, general industry, ports, marine, construction, energy and emergency relief.

 

 

Skills and experience required

 

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Sound judgment and good business sense
  • A confident and determined approach
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial 'can do' attitude
  • Committed and ambitious approach to personal/business development
  • A work hard attitude
  • A team player who is driven to meet targets
  • Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Previous involvement in the mechanical and engineering sector is desirable
  • Experience working in a B2B sales environment would be an advantage
  • Full UK driving licence

 

 

The role will include but will not be limited to the following duties

 

  • Follow up on sales leads by telephone and email
  • Visit potential customers to discuss new business
  • Liaise with existing customers about future business
  • Provide potential clients with quotations
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends
  • Represent your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations in the UK and abroad
  • Help identify new markets and business opportunities
