By smartly standardising our designs and components, we can pass time and cost savings to our customers. Rubb's pre-designed buildings are assembled in Gateshead, UK, using the same high-quality materials as our custom buildings, and come with a full range of accessories.
The price includes a complete steel structure, manufactured ready for erection. The steel is hot-dip galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461:2022 after the welding process to provide a maintenance-free building.
We only use high-quality tested fabric membrane. Its tensile strength, elongation, tearing strength, bursting strength coating adhesion, and resistance to flexing has been tested according to BS 3424. The fabric is flame retardant and self-extinguishing to BS 5438 Test 2B and BS 7157.
Rubb's pre-designed structures can be anchored with a range of options to suit your site and building requirements including: mechanical concrete anchors, chemical resin anchors, alternative anchors.
Our pre-designed structures comply with the following Eurocode standards: BS EN 1993 (design of steel structures); BS EN 1990 (basis of structural design); BS EN 1991-1-1 (actions on structures); BS EN 1991-1-3 (snow loads); BS EN 1991-1-4 (wind loads); BS EN 1991-1-7 (accidental loads).
Rubb can supply various sizes of electrically-operated roller shutter doors: galvanized steel convex lath curtain; heavy-duty guides and galvanized plates; pre-galvanised rolled steel ‘T’ section bottom rail; bottom rubber seal.
Rubb can supply 1.2m x 2.1m single access doors in the rear gable end and sidewalls: heavy duty 1.5mm door skin thickness; low profile threshold - 2mm stainless steel; emergency exit touch bar panic latch c/w lever handle and euro cylinder; outward or inward opening.
Rubb can supply and install lighting and heating packages to suit individual requirements. For example: provision of a mains distribution panel; main LED lighting, 150-250 lux; emergency exit lighting; electrical sockets; earthing of structure.
All shelters can be erected by your own labour force, a Rubb construction team or a Rubb adviser together with your own labour. Rubb fabric shelters can be quickly manufactured and constructed to suit clients’ needs, available space, and site restrictions.
Rubb warrants against all defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery. We further guarantee that steel framework and single-skin fabric membrane will be free from deterioration in usefulness for a period of 25 and 10 years, respectively.

The PDM comes in 15, 20, and 25m spans. The length of Rubb’s pre-designed range is extendable in 5m modules.
