EFASS electrics & lighting

Strong, lightweight, & robust

Electrics are supplied in kit form with plug and play connections. Each kit is supplied with a power distribution panel designed to accommodate all currently available accessories, with the option of two power supply inputs:

Americas 120/208 3 phase 60hz
European 220/415 3 phase 50hz

Plug and play principles are applied throughout to make installation easier. Quality of materials and components selected are very robust and at the top of the market to provide long term efficiency and durability for multiple dismantling and re-erection cycles.

Electrical accessories

One main distribution board rated at 415V AC, 50Hz with a maximum loading of 63Amps wired and fitted to control and power the following accessories plus the hangar door system and internal maintenance crane.

Main LED lighting (300, 500, and 750 lux configurations)
Navigational Obstruction Warning lighting
Remote power sockets

Emergency lighting & wireless fire alarm system

Designed and manufactured in the UK, Rubb can supply a fire alarm system that complies with EN54 Part 2, 4 and 25 and BS 5839 Part 1, and BAFE standards and regulations. It can feature either 8 or 20 zones, with up to 240 devices connected (including detectors, call points, transmitters, sounders, and I/O units).

LED emergency lighting can also be provided, fitted along alternating EFASS eaves. Both are powered by the main distribution board, and are fitted to BAFE standards and regulations.

Earthing & regulations

The kit complies with the 17th edition of the IEE Regulations for portable and temporary electrical installations, issued by the Institution of Electrical Engineers.

Where relevant, the British Standard specification for materials and British Standards Codes of Practice for installations is adhered to.
